Modern marketing for a historic town

Branding, Copywriting, and Website Development

Visit Redstone Colorado

This historic mining and artist community shifts its marketing to attract new and returning visitors.

Imagine a gorgeous mountain town that looks like it could be the backdrop to a real-life Disney movie, that has come to life. Now open your eyes and you are in Redstone, Colorado.

While being located within only an hour's drive of either Aspen or Glenwood Springs, this sleepy little town is a hidden gem that was easily overlooked. With a grant from the Colorado Tourism Association, the Visit Redstone Marketing Committee and Elephant Mountain Creative worked together to promote tourism in Redstone. We worked closely with the 5 member committee to strike the right balance while protecting the historic and charming small-town feel.

The Solution: Branding and a well-executed website with all new copywriting to paint a picture of a simpler time. A place to slow down and reconnect with family and friends.

The new branding, copywriting and website has given the town a valuable resource to present itself how in a way that promotes town values and shows Redstone’s unique assets. Redstone is not every other Colorado mountain town. Redstone has a bold, unique story to tell just like through stunning photography and bold color scheme.

Logo and Brand Identity

Redstone is a place frozen in time. The coke ovens, the red cliffs, and the mountains look the same as they did in the 1890’s. Those pillars inspired the logo and are representative of Redstone. It’s the history, the nature, and the simplicity of life and connections.

Bold colors were selected to represent the striking beauty and the vibrant community that has always called Redstone home.

The mixture of the traditional font and the simple clean sans-serif font hark back to the historic mining roots and as well as the simple way of life still found in Redstone.
